Linda Laino

Born in Philadelphia and residing in Richmond, Virginia, Linda received her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.

She maintains a Richmond studio for her visual art as well as a free-lance business restoring oriental rugs.

This new line of furniture and accessories, first conceived about eight years ago, combines her love of art, color, design and textiles.

2005 NICHE Awards Nominee: NICHE magazine is an exclusive, award-winning trade publication for retailers and gallery owners in the contemporary fine arts industry, and for the artists who produce these items.  A "must-have" magazine, retailers depend on NICHE for new art and craft sources and retailing strategies year-round.  Owners of galleries, museum and specialty shops, and interior design agencies subscribe to NICHE magazine, which is published quarterly.  Linda was one of 137 finalists chosen from over 1,000 entries to the 2005 awards.  The awards are presented annually at the Buyers Market of American Craft in Philadelphia.
